The Language Teacher Development Department of the Area of Further Training organizes a series of face-to-face and videoconference academic activities aimed at teachers of foreign languages to adults and teenagers.

Through these conferences, workshops and TESOL Spain regional events, the University of Barcelona Area of Further Training (AFC-EIM) aims to open a channel of communication with foreign language teachers, as part of its commitment to assuring quality in this area of teaching. Furthermore, the AFC strives to maintain its position at the forefront of the UB programmes that connect the university with the community, integrating its different agents.
